Shine your light on Anchorage
Join Beacon Media + Marketing and the Anchorage Downtown Partnership as we revive the Anchorage City of Lights project.
Holiday tree lighting is one of our city's most wonderful winter traditions. Every year, we host a special ceremony in Town Square Park to celebrate the start of the holiday season, complete with live music, performances, free cookies, and hot cocoa. Of course, it wouldn't be complete without a visit from Santa and his reindeer! There's nothing better than watching a cascade of twinkling lights brighten a dark night with your loved ones.

This year has left us all needing a little extra cheer, so we're inviting you to help us light up the dark! We want to create magical memories for everyone to enjoy, so we're decorating the downtown area and adding exciting new light installations to FIVE public spaces. Join us as we shine our lights on Anchorage and spread a little holiday sparkle this winter.
